Restaurant San Juan del Sur: The Best View

Unlike many of the lesser-developed areas in Nicaragua, Rivas offers a rich selection of restaurants San Juan del Sur and a variety of cuisine types.  But most tourists are looking for three things: good food, authentic cuisine and an incredible view.  El Timon has it all.

 The first thing you notice when you walk into El Timon is the traditional architecture.  With a weaved palm room and structures built from precious woods, this place could have been constructed 1,000 years ago.

 The food is incredible.  El Timon is known for its seafood soup, which contains a combination of locally caught fish, mussels, clams and shrimp.  The have a wide selection of dishes that include chicken, shrimp, steak and more.  

 The service is incredible.  Serve from the left, clear from the right and your waiter is always available for any request.  The staff here works as a team; even though they are assigned tables, you can ask any of them for help and receive a quick response.

 The cherry on top is the view.  Positioned right on San Juan del Sur Bay, El Timon offers a clear view of the sea and both headlands that encompass the bay.  It's not the packed tourist beach that you might think.  There's always a few vactioners sunbathing or swimming, but it's not the party scene that most people think of when restaurants San Juan del Sur comes to mind.  El TImon truly is one of the best restaurants San Juan del Sur.
