Vacation San Juan del Sur: Best Navigation Website

This post wasn’t exactly planned from the start, but we found a tool that is so helpful for navigation, it belongs in this blog.  It is a website called www.pochomilbeach.com, and even though the main purpose of this blog is to rent out a beach house, there's some juicy information that can help any tourist on a vacation San Juan del Sur, or anywhere else in Nicaragua.

I’m a new-school kind of person, so when I first arrived in the country without a GPS, I thought I’d better limit my solo travels to places not-so-far off the beaten path.  But pochomilbeach.com makes it easy to navigate around the entire country.  It’s even better than the Ministerio de Transporte!

How so?  Well, pochomilbeach.com organizes transportation information in a logical, clear outline. The website provides tables that show the distances in kilometers to every city, making it a lot easier to plan how long a trip will take.

There are several tables, each organized in a different way to show the relative distances of cities from each other and from the capital city of Managua.  I particularly found the Highway Table useful because it shows a list of the main roads and highways in Nicaragua.  If you’ve driven around this country long enough, you know that this information is invaluable.

The website also features a large collection of photos of major beaches and tourist areas in Nicaragua, which can be particularly helpful for mapping out your vacation San Juan del Sur.  According to the site operator, these road maps and tables are leading to a boom in traffic from tourists from a variety of countries.  If you’ve been lucky enough to stumble upon this post before traveling to Nicaragua, do yourself a favor and visit pochomilbeach.com, especially if you intend to drive around Nicaragua.
